About Me

I am a Quebecer although I have been adopted from China since I am 9 months old by my Quebecer parents. So don't get confused, I have no relation with China, except my appearance.

I am an easy going person (don't abide by schedules), open minded (trust me, I have studied in psychology), curious (I will probably ask too many details - also a proof of my candor), and I enjoy being around new people to exchange thoughts and experiences (I am driven by others' people narrative).

I don't - never - complain. I am too grateful to even think about discomfort. Hence, I adapt myself easily.

One of my mottos: "if they are living that way, so am I". I venture in serendipity.

"Go with the flow". Anguish is a construct which prevents me to live my true self. " Sincerity is scary - The 1975".

I am trying my best to see the positive side of everything.
Indeed, I am an optimistic.

"When was the last time I did something for the first time?" I tend to challenge myself everyday to get out of my comfort. I indulge in daring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet, to share and to give.

I am simply intrigued by people's other history/background. I sincerely travel via meeting people/surfers/locals/strangers - humans. I am fascinated by cultural differences.

I'd rather want to exchange and share my thoughts with someone than visiting a touristic/historical place/museum. In my opinion, Wikipedia does the work.

I realised that the matter is not about how many countries I check mark - I hate the concept of a bucket list. What matters for me is the quality of time I've spent in one place.

I will not choose the country I want to live in, but the people I want to be surrounded by.

Interests

Humans
That should explain why I have chosen to study in psychology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have met a lot of strangers, from a bar, a house, a dinner, a walk in town or a fortunate rescue in a seeming desperate situation. At first, it is always a bit awkward and arduous for me to break the ice. Despite my concerns about being a disturbance, I surpass this barrier, and those moments remain those unforgettable.

- I have once traveled through Việt Nam with my bicycle ~ 2000km. I've stopped my journey in Cambodia because of a dog. If you ask me, I'll tell you what happened ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be my pleasure to discuss with you and to tell you anything I know about psychological stuff I've learned throughout the obtention of my degree (if you're interested).

I am keen to help you and do my very best, improving everyday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I'm requesting to be hosted, I always like to bring a little something from my place. If you need/want something, please don't hesitate to ask me anything. I prefer to give something useful, otherwise, I'll try my best to surprise you, perhaps over something I can cook ;)

If I'm hosting, I'm glad to offer food and accommodations. Please read carefully my "home" section. I'll be more than happy to welcome you during your journey.
