Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So... of course to meet interesting people and discover places like locals know them.
I love to share and listen to great stories and think couchsurfers have just the best ones to tell.

Interests

... are really diverse. So tell me what you love, and chances are that I'm going to find it interesting :D

I definetely love music and the way it can communicate so many things in such a beautiful manner. I like to play football and do ballet, to create things with my hands and be creative. Another favourite is food!! Cooking and eating it ;)

I want to get to know Latin America, improve my Spanish, and learn about cultures in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a favourite type of music, but currently I'm into all things in spanish, e.g. Kevin Johansen, Calle 13, Mercedes Sosa. But I also like some classical music, e.g. Tchaikovsky. At the moment I'm listening to Mexico (The Staves), El año viejo (Tony Camargo), Trouble (Ray LaMontagne), La Tierra del Olvido (Carlos Vives/Playing for Change).

Current favourite movie: biutiful (or maybe Vicky Cristina Barcelona)
+ watching loads of films about Latino Immigration to the US because of my Bachelors Thesis
