Music: no definite style. It always depends on the situation.

Movies: there are a couple... Pleasantville and American Beauty are great, but Man on the Moon, Truman Show or Me myself and Irene aren't bad either.

TV Series: Six Feet Under, Dexter, Law and Order: SVU, FAMILY GUY.. giggidy

Books: diaries, books about education and teaching kids, contemporary rather than 19th century (or older) literature, American rather than German
