About Me

A creative person with a pinch of salt of a humour. I enjoy travelling, exploring the world and meeting new people. Fascinated by movement and dancing. Studying Eurythmy from Autumn 2014.

Lived in Oslo for two and a half years after graduating high school in Tallinn, in 2012. Started off as a gap year experience and then gradually transformed into me starting to go to university there. After first year of my study spent the summer at my sister's place in Portland.

Since autumn 2015, I have been living in Germany, where I finished my study. For the first 9 months I was couchsurfing, so that I could betterlearn the language, the culture, save on rent and meet new people through couchsurfing. A very humbling and exciting experience it was. Now, since I am renting a room, I host people at my home from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out about Couchsurfing when I was 14 and a postcard seller back in Tallinn. I would meet lots of tourists during the workday and really liked the exchange of stories, the human contact. Once our boss had a couchsurfer from Germany sleeping over in our office and since then I was fascinated by this idea. I think it gives a lot more to the experience of travel, rather then just the tourist kind of one. I find it to be more honest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Enjoy instrumental music from around the world, really like to listen to live didgeridoo performances, as well as have been listening to a lot of jazz and classical music lately.

Top on my movie list: Birds of America, Into the Wild, documentaries, comedy and stand up.

Books that moved me:
"The Art of Asking" by Amanda Palmer
"Jonathon Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach
"Scarecrow" by Vladimir Zheleznikov
"We" by Yevgeny Zamyatin
"The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D.Salinger
and am totally blown away everytime I pick I book written by Pelevin...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once gave a concert to a squirell, at some point it started signing and dancing to the music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Let's share good Food?
I am also a good listener. As well as an honest conversation partner.

I am not afraid to embarrass myself by signing and playing a musical instrument infront of the host or together with. Just don't forget to let me know when it stops being amusing and starts being annoying.
