Overview
About Me
A creative person with a pinch of salt of humor. I enjoy traveling, exploring the world, and meeting new people. Fascinated by movement and dancing.
I lived in Oslo for two and a half years after graduating from high school in Tallinn, in 2012. It started off as a gap year experience and then gradually transformed into me going to university there. After the first year of my study, I spent the summer at my sister's place in Portland.
In the autumn of 2015, I moved to Germany, where I finished my Eurythmy studies. For the first 9 months I was CouchSurfing, so I could learn the language & the culture, save on rent & meet new people. A very humbling and exciting experience inded.
Now, I live and work in the Netherlands, where me & my partner Marthy have a place we call home. We love to host guests time and time again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was 14 and a postcard seller, back in Tallinn, I first heard about CouchSurfing. During the workday, I would meet a lot of tourists and travelers. What I especially liked was the exchange of stories — the human contact. Once, our boss had a CouchSurfer from Germany, staying in our office. Since then, I have been fascinated by this idea of opening my doors to travelers and meeting people by staying at their place. I think it gives a lot more to the travel experience, it becomes less touristy and more honest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
