About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn, Explore, Meet!

ABOUT ME

It's difficult to sit down and try to describe yourself in a few words, but I would say that I'm a fun, humorous, interested, friendly, honest, and relaxed person who loves to discover new things and meet new people. I love being outside and going on adventures by myself or with friends, whether it be backpacking, sea kayaking, road-tripping, or just exploring a new city or town! I don't think I really have any enemies and tend to get along with everyone, and I'm excited to get to meet more people through CS!

PHILOSOPHY

"Be silent as to services you have rendered, but speak of favours you have received."~Seneca

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and surf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed twice in Valencia and once in Brussels. Looking to have more surfing experiences. I now host in San Antonio frequently.

Interests

playing guitar, listening to music, backpacking, road-tripping with friends, spending time with my family, kayaking, going for leisurely bike rides, unicycling with my dad, practicing languages (Spanish for me right now but hopefully more in the future), tasty food, new food, new tasty food, playing cards and games with people I enjoy, playing sports (basketball, tennis, ping pong, running, or whatever!), etc

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. I like to play guitar and a little bit of drums and harmonica, and I love listening to music as well. Jimi Hendrix is far and away my favorite artist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've worked in Alaska for 2 summers of my life, in the Chugach National Forest and in Denali National Park.

I love to kayak, and I have been fortunate enough to be able to work for Whitman College as a sea kayak guide in the San Juans and on smaller trips as well on rivers closer to the school. I also got to work for Alaska Sea Kayakers based out of Whittier, AK for some time during the summer of 2012.

I've gotten to do some great backpacking as well in my home state of Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas, in Alaska, and in Washington (state).

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, France, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
