For years I've wanted to travel the world, just never had the time or money to do it... Now, I finally can, and although hostels/hotels are an option, I would rather stay with locals to experience the truest culture of each place I visit... As a solo traveller, having a CouchSurfing buddy to plan on meeting would make things much easier.
