I'm an easy-going, fun-loving student from a small town in the Midwest of the United States. As for traveling, it is one of my favorite things (a few others include the moon, hummus and cheese). I absolutely love the freedom that comes along with having no plans and the knowledge gained by getting lost in a new place or meeting new people. Let's be pals!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently living in a house with my roommates. We are students at the University of Illinois. Willing to host if someone comes around Champaign-Urbana!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never Couchsurfed but have heard from multiple friends that it is the best way to see a city and meet the locals. Looking forward to testing the waters and become a part of the community.

Interests

I enjoy traveling, making new friends, reading a good book on a rainy day, riding and working on bicylces, learning, shredding the pow on a snowboard, sampling new foods and drinks, bicycling, ogling at the moon, watching basketball and hockey and playing waterpolo.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Anything by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. or David Foster Wallace. Enders Game and Song of Ice and Fire series.

Movies: I'll watch just about any movie as long as it isn't scary!

Music: All kinds of music but some favorites include: Modest Mouse, Erykah Badu, My Morning Jacket, Kanye West, Jose Gonzalez, The Tallest Man on Earth, Justin Rondon, Waxahatchee, Real Estate, Notorious B.I.G.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite experiences was mountain biking in Idaho with my dad. I managed to only go over the handle bars once and it was quite the rush!
