ABOUT ME

As far as education, "training," plans, future goes, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from UW-Madison, and have subsequently earned my Masters Degree in the same this Spring. I'd like to eventually work in the medical field, either as an engineer or physician, still TBD.

Non-occupationally, I'm super easy goin', live to hike, have been fortunate enough to have traveled all over Europe, Ireland, England, Germany, Switz, Italy, etc., thanks to a super awesome and supportive group of friends and family, very thankful. I'm all about seeing scenic places, camping is my go-to, favorite current place to hike/camp is the BWCAW, northern Minnesota.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just got into this whole scene, am hoping to do a little surfing coming up. Also hope to return the favor for any surfers in Madison/Minneapolis/wherever in the future.

None so far! Looking to change that here real soon.

Interests

Movies, books, musics, sketching, dinkin' around on photoshop, editing videos on adobe premiere, personal health, food, exercise, craft brews, ping pong, badminton, ultimate frisbee, but actually, I dedicate an absurd amount of time training for/playing ultimate frisbee, I play for the club team at my University and it's way more intense than I bet you thought possible for such a "sport."

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently into Of Monsters and Men, Trampled by Turtles, and other contemporary folky music. Mostly alternative, the 'you've probably never heard of them' type bands are usually appealing. Also still loyal to punk bands of my adolescence...Blink 182, for example. Been knocking out the classics for books, most recent favorite is East of Eden, a truly amazing novel. Alternative-like movies, Danny Boyle directed films are probably my overall favorites, sunshine, Trainspotting, 28 days later, anything by the Coen bros, LOTR, huge Star Wars fan, also a sucker for random action series like the Bourne series and Mission Impossible.

Bungie jumped out of a gondola over a lake on top of a mountain in Switzerland...it was cool!
