When I was 14, I got to go on a 3 day white water rafting/canoeing/kayaking trip in Georgia (the state, not the country). We would raft for most of the day, set up camp next to the river, and continue the trip in the morning. We managed to raft about 30 miles in that weekend, and traversed through several level 4 rapids, many of which capsized us.
