About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am working on my practise based artistic research on Indonesian batik..!
ABOUT ME
I am professional painter and street artist who loves life very much, lives it to the fullest and tries to understand what reality actually is. Most of my time I paint, draw or read. I love studying and researching time-honoured painting techniques in my studio practice. Outside in the cities I love doing graffiti and lately I prefer large scale murals.
I love coffee and tobacco and when I want o relax I visit bookstores, libraries and museums. My daily routine includes exercise at the Gym and writing a book.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to make the best of life and keep true to my personal values.

Music, Movies, and Books
Trip hop mostly and variations of it like Jazz hop. Instrumental hip hop, some 90's Rap, funk and jazz remixed with beats, tango and selected Latin songs. Occasionally I will opt for some classical music and maybe Opera like Maria Callas. I especially love Lo-fi experimental Trip hop that is recorded and circulated in tapes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learned from my mistakes.
Teach, Learn, Share
In the past, I taught drawing and painting. I also taught graffiti for a while. While I lived in Indonesia I was teaching english in a private school and teaching english to pre-school kids by the use of painting!
Learning? I learn from everything and everyone. We teach each other all the time without realising it. We just have to be aware and observe. The hardest thing I find is to "forget", to discard.
On a more practical note, I read and about art, philosophy and spiritual traditions.
I try to share as much as I can. After all, the only truly revolutionary action in our age, in "developed" societies, is giving away for free and expecting nothing in return.
