Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Dec 08: Had my first great experience in Germany where I met the nicest people :)
Nov 09: surfed for a night in Mallorca
Nov 09: met a great french dude in Madrid through CS
Dec 09: met with fellow lonely CS travelers in Paris!

Since then I hosted a couple of times and met and surfed with other CS's in Portugal, Japan, Russia,China and Morocco

Interests

One of my biggest hobbies is playing the (classical) guitar. When possible I take it with me everywhere I go. Recently I also began playing the piano.
I enjoy traveling, photography I like learning languages and I would like to meet people from different cultures.
I took up scuba-diving some years ago and part of some trips are now spent in the bottom of the ocean.
Watching movies, reading books and listening to music. I also enjoy fencing and tennis. And sometimes spend too much time on the computer or playing videogames

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an avid reader. I think I enjoy any (good) book regardless of its genre but mostly I read Sci-Fi, Fantasy and lately historical fiction. When possible I like to read books in their original language. I also enjoy good comic books.

Music is something I cannot live without. Whether I am in a train, bus or aeroplane, if I am alone you will find me with a book and a pair of headphones. Music really adds to the books reading experience, be it classical, punk, happy ska, rock..

I like movies that make me think (Cube), that surprise me (Memento, Usual Suspects, Requiem for a Dream, Lola Rennt), that make me sad (Dancing in the dark, Dogville), that make me happy (Big Fish), and just plain strange (David Lynch). A also enjoy good action flicks once in a while .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in Gran Canaria. 10 push-ups in a row.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Spanish, Japanese, English, (some) Guitar and Piano. Computer stuff. Basic relativity theory :p
Also I can teach you how to twitch your ears!

Learn: anything, specially if its related to languages or music. I will soon begin studying Chinese seriously, and later on Arabic.

Share: My thoughts. Would like to practice Japanese with someone.
