Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I would rather stay with people in different places and have an enriching experience than stay in hotels. It's always great to meet new people and learn more.

I like to read books, cook, do craft work and teach. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I have no favourites as such but I enjoy music from mostly all genres - as long as it appeals to my mood.

Movies: It goes the same for this as well. I have no favourites. I enjoy meaningful cinema mostly, but I do not mind some masala Bollywood and Hollywood Rom-coms once in a while.

Books: I mostly read historical and realistic fiction. I also enjoy reading children's literature since I teach English as second language and History. I am not a fan of fantasy genre. I have no favourites as such, but here are some that I really liked (which are also currently on top of my mind):
Brave New World (Aldous Huxley), Fahrenheit 451 (Ray Bradbury), Dancing Girls (Margaret Atwood) and Tales of the City (Armistead Maupin), The Bluest Eye (Toni Morrison), to name a few..
