Overview
About Me
I am a very outdoorsy and sporty person. In love with nature running, climbing, cycling, hiking. I did several marathons and ultramarathons, wanna do Ironman one day. Really wanna learn surfing. I also love traveling but in an authentic way, not to be a tourist but to make effort and truly get to know the country and it’s culture, talk to locals, and behave as if I am one of them. This is the main reason why I am here. During the last 2 years I was changing my country of living every several months due to studies. I lives in San Francisco, Korea, Taiwan, India, Canada. I also like learning languages because I believe that they open another way to see the world and giving you one more personality which I find truly remarkable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is very interesting for me to meet new people and know something about their country and culture. Even if countries are close to each other they anyway very different. I can hear the point of view of people from another countries with another mentality and values.
Interests
I travel almost all my spare time.I like hitchhiking.Traveling is like school of life.It develops thinking, teaches to make quick decisions, to plan ahead in advance, taking into account all problems that mat happen. Thanks to traveling I learnt to use my time rationality to see all previously planned places.
Traveling is constantly makes me leave the zone of comfort.I am developing as a person only when I accept the challenges, when I leave comfortable conditions and adapt to other ones, when I try to find a way out of the situation by myself.
I like the feeling of independence.I like to realize the consequences of decisions I have made, to take responsibility for them
I can't imagine myself without social activity. I restored and headed the Ternopil branch of NGO "Foundation of Regional Initiatives" (more known among the young people as FRI). We encourage making independent decisions by young people on places.
