Overview
About Me
Very flexible and open minded I'm always pleased to adapt to people and new environments - that's actually my life credo, I find it very enriching as a way of being.
I like exchanging experience and learning from people the way they do and feel things, and love to share my thoughts and laughts. I would say I'm quite funny, I am surely very easy-going and easy-leaving too. I don't know how to judge, I know much better how to appreciate. I love what they call 'deep' talking just as much as I like silly-things-doing ;) I also love to cook for/with somebody and know how to do it ;) I also love to engage into collective endeavors be they hikings, dancings, brain-stormings, documentary-makings and so on.
At a younger stade of my life I followed my family's path doing my Masters in Physics and Technology. I then realized, by doing photo reportages in Asia, what I really wanted my life to be is to feel and think in all the different ways people might. I'm now converted into social anthropology and keep it that way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First of all, I am really not of a solitary human being. I love to know I'm in a group, I'm with somebody, I bond.
Then of course, CS is a cheap accomodation which matters for low-income travellers which I, as a PhD student, am. But much more importantly, I'm convinced it is _the best way_ to explore real life of real people (what I am personnally most interested of), to meet random cool individuals and go local with them!
I'm used to spare my couch for friends and acquitances every now and then when I have conditions, and I love to be the best host possible. When I settle somewhere bigger than now, I'll do that even more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was a skydiving freefall in a wingsuit, my parachute didn't open... so I had to plane and land upon a river; needless to say, I nearly dead slashing the water, I then nearly dead trying to reach the shore in my wingsuit... When I got ashore, I had to cross a piece of a wildnature park, and guess what - I got followed by a bear... this is typically the kind of things I do in my dreams, aha.
Teach, Learn, Share
