About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Tanya from Russia :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In summer 2011 I've hosted one Indonesian guy for 1 week. It was my first experience and it was great! We became real friends, until now we are really close. After that I realized the beauty of cs experience and have got so many friends all over the world.

Interests

I love to explore the world, to see the beauty of our Earth. I'm so curious about different cultures, languages and local people from the places I visit... I prefer the active leisure, for example - hiking, climbing, bicycle, swimming and so on..Yoga makes me really happy.
Also I like to do some handmade.
And my passion is pastry! I like to bake cakes, to make different kind of desserts, to create new recipes. Have my own small home bakery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First amazing thing that I've done it's my first trip to Indonesia in 2011...I was young and alone, i didn't have any backpacker's experience, my english was very bad, i didn't have enough money...So many reasons why I couldn't go there, but then I just bought the tickets and trusted the fate :) In the end it was great and it opened my mind.
Second thing: in 2012 I left my home in Novosibirsk and moved to St. Petersburg, alone again... I entered to the SPbU university to magistracy. I already have the diploma "Industrial electronic" but my Master's program was "Tourism"...It was very hard, just 5 budget vacancies, but I passed exam successfully :)
Third thing - in 2013 I packed my backpack and bought one way ticket to Indonesia. I had no money and no idea what to do there and how to get job but in the issue It was greatest experience I've ever had. I spent 1 year in southeast Asia, worked in Thailand and traveled a lot.
