ABOUT ME

I love new experiences, and traveling is definitely a neverending source of those. I'm from Russia, Moscow, and I've spent last two years of my life studying and teaching French (what else!) in a friendly little town in the heart of Iowa. Before going back to Russia I want to explore the Southeast of your beautiful country with my former student and now inspiring and supportive friend, Adam.

Adam's version: Kate was my French teacher. We met in college, fell in love, and decided to hang out for a while. Kate is from Moscow, Adam is from Iowa. We chose to move to Russia, or back to Russia, but before doing so we wanted to experience all that the United States has to offer. Neither of us has ever been to the Southeast United States, so we decided, together, to take this journey before we depart. We will travel to 9 cities, over 14 states, in a small white shark (92' Pontiac Grand Am - pretty badass) on the journey for the American dream.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live in the US and I try to make the most of this by traveling all around the country. I've only been surfing so far, and my traveling has been awesome and unforgettable thanks to couchsurfing! When I go back to Russia and settle down, I'll be able to pay back and to enjoy other people's company and perspectives by hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

From Iowa to California and back. Most amazing couchsurfing experience: my roommate Tatiana and I drove 5000 miles to meet amazing people, to explore the gorgeous West and to live our American experience to the fullest.
