Human beings are social animals - I love being surrounded by people 24 hours a day. I do need alone time sometimes, but I think having time to yourself is completely overrated!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in South America and Vancouver - although I cannot host currently, I come across quite a few surfers through my friends.
