What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately, I want to express some of my indignation. I don't know if it is a coincidence or not but lately I began noticing a shameful tendency of some guests who, to my mind, misinterpret the Couchsurfing policy. Guys, if you are staying in a house of a person (doesn't matter a stranger or your family member), please be concious that it is not a one-way traffic, no matter in what country, culture and status of a family you are staying at. Nobody owes you anything, it is a pure goodwill gesture of a host to take you to some fun places, to feed you, to devote his/her time and energy to you which has its limits. As soon as you begin to take all the goodwills for granted, the flow stops. It is not my fancy, it is a UNIVERSAL rule of decorum (politeness). Couchsurfing site is about sharing, not about using.
