ABOUT ME

Hey there!

My name is Tom and I’m from Alice Springs in Australia . I love eating healthy, exercising and dancing. I'm really into sustainability and see bikes as a fundamental aspect in changing the way humans explore the world. I'm also vegetarian and I love to garden.

At present I am cycle touring around NZ’s South Island with my best mate Hannah... that’s us in the profile photo! We are looking forward to seeing the countryside in a really lovely, slow and meaningful way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think society has a lot to improve upon and a small step towards that improvement would be in talking to other human beings and being more considerate to strangers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted someone at my house before, now she is one of my best mates! Also I've met people in the city when they've shown a big interest in something I do. I've only surfed myself once- in Barcelona. I made some really cool friends there and actually stayed there a week. I love to cook for the people that host me if circumstances permit. I hope to meet some more great people and in future on my travels and then reciprocate that generosity back to the universe.
