We believe in transparency in thought & action.We have an open mind in learning the essentials from various cultures,ethnicity,linguistic groups & focus on establishing long lasting friendships. We are not religious but respect all religions & very well understand that religions are only different paths leading to the same supreme divine being.

Ranjana, belonging to the stock of true Great Marathas is a daughter of Amchi Mumbai,gives justice to our biz. as well as to our home.She is warm,steadfast,friendly & is a pillar of strength.Being an accomplished cook,she can prepare a variety of mouthwatering,tasty delicacies whether be it Marathi,Goanese,Oriya or Continental cuisines.

Every living being in this earth is ordained with some purpose.We believe in one single almighty who is guiding every action,every thought & believe in the concept of work is worship. every type of work is important and must be respected irrespective of the remuneration it carries.We believe in honesty & integrity in every aspect of our life & our experience is that it always pays off positively in the long run.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Becoming a responsible member by interacting with members of different groups of similar interest. Hosting cs members from time to time.Inculcating the true values of Indian cultural milieu.Whenever time permits, then may be enjoy being hosted by some couch surfers in some distant shores.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted Claire,Marion & Margaux from France at our Mumbai residence for two days at the end of August2010.Thanks a lot to them for informing us about couchsurfing organisation.Since then, hosting couchsurfers from various countries has become almost an addiction for us.
Being in exports business since 1987,we had welcomed numerous of our clients frm various parts of the world who use to visit Mumbai fr business & many times fr medical treatment along with their families.Showing them the beauty of Mumbai or booking of hotels or hospitals was part of our responsibility for our friends.Only regret for us is that we came to know abt couchsurfing organisation very late in 2010.Couch surfing spirit was already there with us since all these years bfore we became members of this fantastic organisation.

making Bonsai Plants at home.collecting herbal & botanical plants.Helping to revive sparrows population.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For us the most amazing thing in our life till now is to see our sweet daughter from the day one,growing up to crawl,trying to talk,trying to walk,falling down,getting up,doing most amazing things in a myriad way & becoming an adult.We have treasured every moment of it & reliving the same even after all these years.

Teach, Learn, Share

learning is endless.one has to learn till the last breath. Teaching and learning are the two sides of the same coin.Sharing is the synthesis. We have an open mind in learning what we don't know and is of interest to us.

People those who have read a lot, have realised that all that high education is just like a drop of water in the ocean. We have to learn so much about life , living, giving, sharing. one has to have an open, receptive mind to churn out the essentials from the vast ocean of knowledge in one's life time. i can be of some help in providing few information about the 5000 years history of India, its people, its culture, its festivals , dances, temples, its currency-coins n paper money etc.

For the enthusiasts ,i can give some tips on how to make bonsai plants, how to nurture,take care of them delicately. We have with us a number of bonsai plants at our home which i have made.

I would love to learn about the couch surfing members, about their countries, their cookings recipes, their lives, their times, their cultures n tradition.
