Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i think i have been using cs for more than 10 years! first i've been hosted in bucharest and prague during a berlin to istanbul trip, both great experiences; and then many other places, from the middle east to india and south east asia. i hosted several people in my room when i was in istanbul, in diyarbakir, in bangkok and in my house in florence, actually only a small share of them was from cs. now that i live in istanbul, i often have someone sharing the floor where i sleep with me, from CS or not. welcome!
Interests
meeting people, random off-stream destinations, drawing, architecture with or without architects, design with people, community organization-mobilisation-blabla, environment-related practice, visual culture in general, weird urban subcultures, Middle Eastern stuff and beyond, history of art, languages, Afghan geeks, queer stuff, migrations, no borders, geopolitics, demonstrations, housing movements, squatting, photography, cycling, hitch-hiking, ferryboats, music, dancing Britney, cooking and eating (i like garlic), strange animals (especially if plump) and cats, growing plants and in particular avocados, falling in love. i love humongous cities and tiny villages in the middle of nowhere.

Music, Movies, and Books
_ books
I like reading, sometimes writing. I loved "Moscow at the end of the line" by Venedikt Erofeev, that my aunt gave me. maybe you know it?
_ music
i like a lot of stuff from Glenn Gould to Britney Spears (mainly before 2007 but not only, I adore Work Bitch)... and i like to discover new things!
_ cinema
i love films but am almost unable to see them out of a cinema, on tv or laptop (but i am improving! also depends on who i am watching it with). last film i ve seen (when it was snowing in istanbul): Tangerines... on the war in Abkhazia, it was wonderful
