ABOUT ME

A student of anthropology and world traveler. I love food and the arts, and try to be active...although I'm a sucker for relaxation, as well! I prefer personal conversations over crazy parties, and love to see what life is like around the world, even the seemingly mundane and "normal". Normal is relative.

PHILOSOPHY

Knowledge is power...and freedom. Whether in or out of school, having an open, curious, respectful mind is always best.

By improving ourselves, we can better serve others--both locally within our daily realm of life, and also on a larger, more global scale. One of the best ways to learn about oneself and others simultaneously is through travel. Not just passing through places to check off a list and see some buildings, but truly seeing, hearing, connecting, and understanding a place and the people within it!

Meeting wonderful people from around the world! I have discovered the wonder that is a group meeting of CSers--fabulous way to have an amazing time with amazing people.

I can teach English, and a bit of French & Italian. I can teach travel tips, and advice on how to handle being in new countries. I can offer advice on Venice, and the other places I've visited. And everything I know about anthropology and human life, I'm always happy to share.
