I recently graduated and I came to Kampala for my first job. I love traveling and meeting people, and I was looking for an opportunity to live a long-time period in a foreign country. So when I get this chance to work in Uganda, I didn't hesitate a long time. Now I am having a lot of fun here, and I'm always looking for new things to try and new friends to make.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosted by couchsurfers a few time while I was traveling.
I arrived few months ago in Kampala, and now for the first time I have a place big enough to host people, so I think it's my turn to welcome travelers. I would be happy to meet people who decided to travel in Uganda, this country is so nice.

Intereses

Travelling and discovering the world !

I am found of rugby, even if I don't play it anymore.
I also love outdoor sports : cycling, hiking, slacklining, rockclimbing (my home city is near Fontainebleau, if you are a climber, you should know it. But I'm not a good climber myself)

I also practice swing dancing and salsa.

And one thing among those I miss the most when I am abroad is french food ^^(even if it's obviously possible to find excelent food everywhere in the world of course)

favorite Music : I like any kinds but rock'n roll comes first
favorites bands : REM, Dire Straits, Supertramp ...

favorite book : I like reading, but if the concept of a "favorite book" is a book you can read again and again, then it didn't happen to me since "The lord of the Ring"

favorite TV show :
- Game of Thrones, well I even read the books :) ;
- and I recently fell in love with "Yo soy Betty la fea" which is perfect to improve my spanish.

favorite movie : Into the Wild, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Forrest Gump, Intouchable ...

Algo increíble que he hecho

I studied during one semester in Istanbul as an erasmus. 5 months to discover this city was not too long, it was realy fantastic.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can give you a really good start in Uganda before you go further to discover this beautiful country.
Or a nice break and rest if you are travelling in Africa for a longer time and you want to enjoy Kampala.
Or both
Or bringing you to salsa parties, as I start to know some good places.
Or something else, I can investigate for you if you are looking for something really special in Kampala.
