Overview
About Me
I'm quite sociable girl (not a crazy people person but a cat one for sure ;D) who wants to know and to see everything in the world. I'm mad about reading because it helps me to investigate our reality, and cannot live without cinema/theatre (not really 'modern' hobby, I see). Love history, cultures and philosophy but know nothing about chemistry - I'm such a caricature of a typical nerd. I am a student and my profession is Japan-related studies (Japanese and English linguistic, to be precise) so we can practise our language skills by talking and discussing everything and anytime.
Friends could say about me that I'm pretty intelligent and easy-going but I can't evaluate myself and confess to such a good description :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main thing you should know about me is the fact that I freaking adore people and some sorts of cultural exchange - I frankly believe communicating with folks in their 'natural environment' is the best way to explore local society, customs 'n traditions, language and cuisin. I don't know a platform better than couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love watching films and reading books so much that the whole list would never have fit this graph but we always can discuss our favourite titles and share honey ones with each other.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Few years ago I went to an island populated with herds of wild horses in order to feed these indangered animals.
Teach, Learn, Share
Till my 18th birthday I have lived in a small town (Elista, Kalmyk Republic) in the south of Russia, famous for its confession — the one and only Buddhist European settlement. That’s where my name “Tara” comes from: there was one Bodhisattva called Tara. So, beyond my roots and specific stories about how Kalmyk people emigrated from modern China territory to the Russian Empire, I can suggest you some basic Russian/Japanese lessons (due to my profession :D) and history tells.
Well, I’m not really talented person and can do almost nothing but I always can recommend you some great books no matter what genre you prefer :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help my potential hosts with housework, spend with them some days, if they want, and tell/listen to a lot about my/their experiences.
