Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband and I are moving to Seattle...on the way up our car transmission blew out. We spent money that was meant for getting situated on first round of tow help and hotel stay in the middle of no where...we will be rescued by tow guy who can take us the rest of the way to Seattle on Friday and be in town by the weekend.

Hoping we can find a host of like minded people til we figure out the next best plan as soon as possible. My brother is a long time couchsurfer member, and we have hosted many people in our home over the years. Lately, I have been moving from year to year and haven't been able to host. My brother recommended I jump on here to see if we can possibly find a temp place to stay.

Currently, I have an office and my husband has a boat secured there (boat that we were gonna live off of til we found a place to live there), but with no car now, hard to get all our ducks lined up smoothly, so hoping we can catch a break upon our arrival there til we regroup funds for a home stay space, at least enough money for getting the boat moved to new docking spot and to cover the coming month's moorage rent.

My husband is a top chef and I am a professional apartment maintenance person, and can help do detail cleaning the house or do repairs, landscaping, residential painting, and provide organizational help building custom shelving in garages, offices, etc. Great references!
