About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see someone slip on a banana skin. For real.

ABOUT ME

Indescribable. =P The word "quirky" is thrown around a lot. But my own impression would be that I'm pretty outgoing, inquisitive (I'm forever asking questions), bright, daydreamy, imaginative and a huge HUGE lover of food. Like, huge....

PHILOSOPHY

#YOLO

I jest. I'm not even a little bit religious but I do believe in the Golden Rule; Treat others as you would like to be treated.

And dance like you've got ants in your pants.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed, hosted and hung out. Unfortunately don't have a couch to offer right now but am always up for hanging out and showing visitors around. =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great experience surfing last summer. Met some really interesting people and made some lifelong friends. I have since returned the favour and hosted people who hosted me, as well as meeting another surfer to show them around Dublin.

Interests

Food (see above), new experiences, travelling-obviously, people and how we define them as good or bad, reading, writing, comedy, reading and writing comedy and anything that grabs my attention. My interests DON'T include trying to convey my personality in awkwardly constructed paragraphs about myself. But then how would you know that I'm not crazy?.....=D

Music, Movies, and Books

People always write "too many to write" but this really is the case. I keep having to redo this coz I run out of space. I'll give you a quick run down of the main categories.
Movies-Comedies, Disney and stuff wot's intelligent.
Music-Mostly indie and 80s but also the odd pop, rap or classical tune.
Books-Character driven. Things that make you question morality like American Psycho or A Clockwork Orange. And Where's Wally.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Don't know if this is wise to broadcast this but I broke into an abandoned block of flats in a notoriously crime-ridden area of Dublin to take some photos. Scary as heck but totally worth it.

Went to Zambia volunteering. Seeing an elephant strolling 20 feet from my bus and the starry night sky are among the most amazing things I've seen.

Going on a road trip with a girl I just met in a country I've never been to before where I knew no one at all! (Also bungee-jumped during this trip!)

Teach, Learn, Share

While couchsurfing I like teaching people a little Irish and anything I can think of about the Irish culture. Whether they want to know or not! I can also make balloon animals, am a bit of a comedy nerd, have an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Disney and a worrying obsession with The Simpsons (pre-2003).
