About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new people and learn new things!
ABOUT ME
I'm the person you'll see singing in the car, dancing in line, and always running around looking for another adventure! For me, fun is: hiking over a mountain without a map, running through fire and jumping headfirst into mud puddles, taking naps in the sun, listening to and creating poetry, stories, and songs, learning something new, having long conversations over delicious food, cooking experiments, drinking wine and staying up late, and laughing as much as possible!
PHILOSOPHY
Negative feelings never last long in a world where a glorious thing can exist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Anything and everything! The most meaningful things in life are shared experiences, and I hope I can share my home, hobbies, and happiness with whoever comes my way! I also plan on traveling as much as possible in the next couple of years, and can't wait to meet other amazing couchsurfers along the way!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Many of my friends have been couchsurfers, and through them I've been introduced to this amazing community. However, I've never actually done it myself! Here's to new beginnings and new adventures!
Interests
I really like to learn about things! I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Psychology, but plan to study medicine sometime in the future. Currently, I'm working on a teaching credential and learning how to be an HIV counselor. When I'm not working, I love being outside! After living in St. Louis, where it was always cold and rainy, I can't get enough of the beautiful Bay area! I've taken up hiking, biking, rock-climbing, and snowboarding, have done a mud race, am always working out and playing water polo, and hope to do a triathlon soon... Basically, if it's fun and active, I'll do it!Misc: Cooking experiments (don't worry - I have a flawless track record so far...), dance parties, poetry readings, making something out of nothing, sharing music and song, climbing things, reading Calvin and Hobbes, trampolines, and coffeeshops
