To travel the world, experience new people, and push the limits on how much adventure one can fit into a lifetime.

ABOUT ME

I'm a super laid back girl who loves to travel (obviously) and spend my time outdoors whenever possible. I love meeting new people and building relationships with them. I'm taking a break from my career of teaching high school math, to hike the PCT. Besides backpacking I enjoy rock climbing, training for triathlons, mountain biking, kayaking, scuba diving, going to springs, rivers, or the beach. I am always setting goals for new things and my interests are very broad.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life with a worry free attitude. If you work hard and are passionate about whatever it is you are doing at the moment, then everything will fall into place. Nothing is worth stressing over.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It took me a good bit of traveling without couchsurfing before actually trying it out. I dove into the couchsuring experience while traveling alone in Panama for a week and was hooked. I hosted a couple people since then and hope to host more when I settle into a new place after my travels!

Everywhere I go I see amazing things. I am constantly trying to remind myself to stop for a minute and really appreciate and soak it all in.

I'm actually very passionate about teaching, but even more so I am passionate about learning. I love learning anything I didn't know before. I am particularly interested in learning Spanish right now. So anyone who wants to practice speaking with me would be greatly appreciated!
