About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To go to as many gigs as possible by my favourite musicians before they all retire!
ABOUT ME
I love music, walking, and travelling. I've gone on some amazing trips to Britain to attend concerts and go hill-walking in Cumbria and North Wales. I've dabbled in rock and ice climbing (despite living in one of the flattest places on earth!) and would like to give cycle touring a try one of these years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was quite happy to join the couchsurfing.com community, having done things the old-fashioned way in the past, relying on chance meetings to find guests/hosts for the couch surfing experience. Have now hosted several CS'ers and look forward to participating more, both as a host and as a guest.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Oysterband, Ron Hawkins, Robb Johnson, Show of Hands, Mick Thomas, and lots of other obscure folk, folk-rock, and political singer-songwriters and bands.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've ever done was to walk 575 kilometres of the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain when I was 33. It was fantastic to spend four weeks just walking, experiencing the places I travelled through in such an immediate way and really SEEING everything.
