About Me
Now based in New Zealand.
ABOUT ME
I am a restless soul, always on the move and it seems that change and new experiences have become somewhat an addiction for me. My camera travels everywhere with me, also another addiction of mine...I love how photography can be so powerful as a medium and I am lucky to have that ability to capture the beauty that i see in everyday life, transient moments and different cultures. I hope to see as much of the world as possible and become as open and knowledgeable as I can. Learning from others is a powerful thing.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm interested in Japanese philosophies such as Ikigai - reason for being and the idea - 'Mono-no-aware' meaning the bittersweet, transient nature of life and acknowledgement of inevitability. I like how the Japanese find words to give meaning to ideas or feelings/emotions that we in the west cannot explain with words.
"When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable." - Clifton Fadiman.
