About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a singer, musician, and dancer who has been living on a farm with about a dozen young artist-farmers. I live in a mostly timber-frame tinyhome that I invested in and helped build. I clean and host about four different Airbnbs, I'm a grill cook at a popular cafe, and recently have been creating my own Cabaret/dessert theater pop up experiences throughout the island of Oahu. I am in search of knowledge, creativity, and Inspiration. I want to find places where the community is dedicated to homesteading and creating the good life through communication and art. I hope to find places that are involved in theater/music and holding space for performance! I came to Hawaii as a nanny, I’ve babysat all my life, and when I was studying in Manhattan I taught Music and Messy Art to two-year-olds. I also worked for two years apprenticing in a stringed instrument repair business...what an incredible experience!! It definitely taught me what I can do and learn with my hands, so I know also consider myself a craftswoman. I started my own refurbished koa wood decor business and it was really successful until It took a back seat to performance. But that’s ok, it was a great chapter :) I usually travel with my ukulele...happy to share my knowledge with you! Kids are especially fun to teach the ukulele to. I am a cook at a cafe, and pride myself on my plant-based innovative cooking and baking. I don’t love anything quite as much as cooking and baking for friends :) I love animals so much and will gladly spend hours with them. I love investing in good sincere connections with people and laughing as much as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find hostels to be overwhelming and that they miss the point of integrating into a society. I have had a couple really amazing experiences traveling with real locals and I find that i really come away from that country understand a lot more and appreciating the local life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One moment was when I was hiking through a cloud up the volcano "Haleakala" in Maui, Hawaii. I hiked through the cloud, watched it fade away into a sunset beneath me. Truly one of the most spiritual and lovely moments of my life.
Another moment was in New York...maybe i wasn't awestruck, but it definitely left me amazed. Me and a friend rented a boat and rowed around one of the touristy lakes and sang people songs as we floated. It filled me with joy to bring that light into people's day and everyone was so thankful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a very respectful guest!! I will even cook and sing for you, but I also can be a quiet little house cat who is out exploring most of the day. I am very sensitive to surroundings and always reading the vibe in order to blend in harmony.
