ABOUT ME

Therapist/social worker, laid back, low maintenance

No need for fancy anything - If I can find two trees that hold up a hammock, or a patch of flat ground for my sleeping pad, I'm happy :) Sometimes I just sleep in my car when traveling... Beds/couches & showers are nice too ;)

I love meeting new cool humans (and other creatures) everywhere I go :) It's one of my favorite parts of traveling to new places!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been "couchsurfing" for years now (w/in the U.S. and internationally, officially on couchsurfing.com and also just through people I meet w/out using the website, as guest and host) and I love it more and more. I also recommend it to everyone because it really makes traveling a totally different kind of experience! Yes, it's a nice bonus to save money, but mostly I just love meeting cool humans who are a part of whatever place I'm visiting.

LOVE all things outdoor fun: rock climbing (mostly sport, some trad), skiing, boating, mountain biking, scuba, canyoneering, hiking/backpacking, surfing, etc. :) And latin dancing (salsa, etc.), live music, yummy-healthy food, endless learning, traveling, good movies, laughing hard, meeting new awesome humans and doing new fun things in new cool places 😁

Hmm... too many special life moments... but here are a few...
I married the best human I know (on a mountain, with four of our best friends officiating), I saw a major rocket launch and landing (w/ sonic boom), watched a reindeer give birth to a cute (albeit slimy) baby reindeer (in AK), I pet a wild deer in Canada :) and I've jumped out of planes (w/ shoot) and jumped off a bridge (w/ bungee)... :)

Love to teach about nutrition, health, mental health issues, psychedelic-assisted therapy, relationship stuff, and any outdoor sport I do...

Love to learn about all of the above plus EVERYthing else!!! (politics, world religions, cultures, places, food, languages, sports, dancing, books, movies, science, ALL of it!)
