Music, Movies, and Books

music- favorites include the good luck thrift store outfit, talking heads, blitzen trapper, my morning jacket, trampled by turtles, chet faker and john prine (forever john prine!). steel guitar melts my heart so any kind of bluegrass, old-timey, americana, folk, alt-country or southern rock and occasionally a little cheesy 80's/90's pop country (im from the south. its my birth-right, right?). also, anything i can dance to (hip-hop, electronic, etc.)

books- i enjoy a variety but often choose non-fiction or fiction based on a true story. some favorites include the river why, cadillac desert, the monkey wrench gang, the brothers k, encounters with the arch druid and fire monks.

movies- fried green tomatoes is my all time favorite and anything by the coen brothers or wes anderson. comedy wins over most genres.
