I"m somebody who loves sports, dancing and everything related to nature, from bushwalking to gardening. I do have an odd sense of (british) humour and like travelling a lot - hence why I'm on this site. I don't tire easily and generally like new experiences...be friendly and I'll smile back!

Currently I want to spend an awesome year as a backpacker and meet as many interesting people as possible - maybe you? ;) Next year I'll hopefully be able to host some surfers of my own!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anime (f. E. Mononoke Hime), The Lord of the Rings, Little Miss Sunshine, X-Men, Loriot, Rocky Horror Picture Show, etc.

Books: Terry Pratchett, Discworld, and Terry Pratchett. Apart from that, I enjoy Douglas Adams just as much, read fanfiction, Sherlock Holmes, Artemis Fowl, Twilight series, Bill Bryson's travel books and Woody Allen's short stories.

Music: Anything's okay bar Hiphop and R'n'B. I really like Metal (think Iron Maiden or teen stuff like Nightwish), Irish Music, Gregorian Choirs, soundtracks, and (medieval) rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really can't decide between climbing a volcano at 40 degrees celcius and doing my deep-diver's certificate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about Japan, Germany, Internet culture, Fanfiction, Comics/Manga, Cosplaying, Old British TV series (Monty Python, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers). I"d like to know more about the same subjects, but I'm also interested to learn about writing, all kinds of natural sciences, surfing, local knowledge about australia, theatre and life, the universe and everything, really. If you're passionate about it, it'll be interesting.
