ABOUT ME
I rose out of the conventional education system at 16, and have been wandering endlessly ever since, crossing paths with more beautiful people, places, and moments than I ever thought dreamable. Living in this place of empowerment has allowed me to discover myriad passions, which lately have been: turning a 1906 house into an urban micro-farm, cycling endlessly, and growing deep roots into Asheville, NC.
I am a total gypsy at heart, and have been joyfully fueling my insatiable wanderlust for what now feels like lifetimes filled and refilled. I have mountain biked on ancient elephant tracks in southern Africa, written poetry in a house full of unschoolers on the Oregon coast, worktraded at a birthing center just north of the Mexican border, lived communally in a yurt in the woods of central Massachusetts, skied the Alps, worked at a children's yoga non-profit in Peru, attended births at a high-volume clinic in Senegal, crashed philosophy classes in France, and planted vegetables in more places than I could ever count.
Most recently, I have landed in beautiful Asheville, NC, where I am growing roots and learning what it means to slow down. I am an aspiring everything, and Iâm constantly learning and re-learning to trust in the journey ~ I canât wait to see where it pulls me next!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bearing witness to a brand new human being being born ~ it's like watching all the beauty in the world embodied in one single moment.
Teach, Learn, Share
The power of authentic storytelling between people never ceases to amaze me. I love to share stories about travel and culture, finding alternatives to industrialized systems (education, healthcare, agriculture), wisdom found in unexpected places, social and environmental sustainability, and people who make shit mappen.
I can also stand on my head for a fairly decent amount of time, and would love to teach you how.
& I want truly to learn about everything.
