I am new to Couchsurfing .... for now :)
My friend recommended CS to me after I said :"it is time for me to go and see people, places , and cultures around the world" - and that is MY CURRENT MISSION.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy - be curious , openminded , with healthy skepticism . Spirituality in the world or living in the world as a spiritual journey .

ABOUT ME

I was born in Ukraine in 1981 in a family of dentist and economist . As a result, under the influence of my family , I ended up being both too :) , with a pragmatic and practical approach to my life... but this did not last long ... :)
While working as a dentist and living a "satisfying " life somehow my existence was becoming more and more meaningless . At that stage of grayness several accidents happened to me and brought me to spirituality and to the search to understand my self and life .... My spiritual journey started from me quitting my dental job and after 2 months going to Canada to get a taste of the life of a buddhist monk. After 2 years I moved out and started to live in a meditation retreat center to continue my practice and support the place, with little crazy gaps of vacations to do this and that ...

At this stage of my life I am re-emerging back into the world and I am really interested to see and learn about new people , places and cultures ...
