About Me

ABOUT ME

Well,... all about me. Where to begin? I was born in Nashville, TN to a German mother and an Indian (from India) father. We moved to Marietta (which is just north of Atlanta), Georgia right before I turned 3. I was raised in Marietta and my parents still live there. I moved to Knoxville, TN in Fall of 2006 to attend The University of Tennessee and I LOVED my time there. I graduated with a BA in German Language & Literature and just recently finished my MS in Teacher Education. Last year I taught German at a high school in Knoxville and it was such an exhausting and rewarding experience. :) Now I am spending time with all my family in Germany, would then love to travel Europe before starting my next internship in Vienna, Austria. I will actually be traveling with my boyfriend Michael, so wherever we stay will have to have room for two :). I have one handsome brother who is starting his college career this upcoming fall. I will miss them all while I am abroad, but am very excited about this new chapter!

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I wish to CouchSurf while traveling Europe in the next two months or so (August/ September 2011). If possible I would love to offer up my apartment next year, however, as of yet am not sure where I will be living in Vienna starting in October.
