About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Adventure! to draw, explore and carouse my way across the world
Currently based in Vancouver, no space for hosting but I'm available to show people around/hang out for sure!

ABOUT ME

I'm an illustrator & graphic designer from the gulf Islands in BC. I've an absolute thirst for adventure and have been traveling alone and with my family my whole life. I love meeting new people and making friends, over a pint perhaps or a well crafted cocktail? or coffee if you're a temperance union type. I don't judge :)

PHILOSOPHY

To live a passionate & full life. (i can elaborate in person)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing around Europe with my friend bryony, we've had a fantastic go of it so far, completely blown away at the generosity and genuine goodwill we've encountered so far. Its made our trip so much more fun and interesting meeting people and making friends all over :)

Interests

Great conversations. Live music, Exploring. Comic books & graphic novels. Nerd things. Cocktail culture, mythology and ancient cultures. Im a decent cook and have a great deal of bartending experience which has come in pretty handy during my travels. So as not to give the wrong impression, i love quiet days at a cafe reading or drawing, hiking along some windy shore just as much!
I speak french, a smattering of Spanish and i have extremely rudimentary Japanese & German.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything Sci-Fi and Fantasy typically. I've an enthusiasm for the supernatural and extrordinary. I love mythology and historical fiction too. Honestly anything well written or well made i'm into.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a secret Coptic church in cappadocia in Turkey. I've seen an eagle take out a sea bird from an arms length away. Swam in underwater ruins in the Mediterranean and floated through a river cave system in belize. Tried & failed to touch bottom in an underwater lake, climbed epic canadian mountain ranges and hiked through towering rainforests. Ive panned for gold in an abandoned mine and touched almost every ocean on earth. The world is an amazing place, and i'm so fortunate to be able to explore it.
