We like to travel (went to Italy fall of 06 - a fabulous trip) and see other cultures from "backstage" versus "orchestra seats" - meaning we want to see how YOU live in your country, not from the viewpoint of a tourist in your country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Jean and Mike from Wisconsin were our first couchsurfers - we had a blast - we'd have them surf with us any time!

oh gosh - all kinds of different stuff. Too much to list. Music - Typical early 70s stuff we grew up with. Books - history, biography, travel, humor - David Sedaris, Bill Bryson, Kingsley Amis, Stephen Ambrose, Carl Hiaasen, many more. Movies - waaaaaaaay too many to list.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Jim - Provided health care to and traveled with the Sioux Indians. Learned medicine in Italy. Amy - Got married in the house where I grew up, hadn't lived there for 30+ years, spent my wedding night in my childhood bedroom.
