About Me

I'm a born and raised New Yorker, and soon to be Doctor, who's trying to learn as much about other cultures, customs and ideas as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use to have another Couchsurfing account, but I feel as though I am in a new phase of my life and a need a new start to show for me new experiences.

Also, it's one thing to visit a place and it's sightseeings; but it's a totally different thing to discover its people—that's why I'm here, to discover people.

Interests

I love getting lost, it's probably the best part about traveling; I always find the best things when wandering aimlessly and directionless.

Recently, because of my career and studies in medicine, I have keep an eye out in the different medical procedures, medications and practices from the places I travel. Medicine is a study that never ends, and acquiring new ideas and techniques can only help patients.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all music, as long as it's not Niki Minaj, too loud and obnoxious, too offensive or inappropriate.

I've read so many medical and scientific books recently I can't remember the last non-science novel I've read haha. I have had have the urge to re-read 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe'.

I was disappointed with the 'Superman vs Batman' movie, wallah I really had high expectations for it. I can watch at any time or day: 'Back to the Future'. Awesome movie and series haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I began medical school, and it has really turned my life in a whole new direction. I perceive everything in a whole new light.

I began hosting though Airbnb for more than a year, and I've meet hundreds of people from all over, truly unique and humbling experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught English in Turkey for about 6 months. Was the best experience I have ever had. Learned a lot about the Turkish culture, people and language; and also about what it means to be a teacher.

I hope one day to be able to become a medical professional and I hope to be able to express the knowledge I learn as a doctor.
