Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Pretty much the gamut. I listen to Hip Hop to Folk to Glitch Electronica to Tuvan throat singing to 1960s Brazillian Pop to Classical piano to all those artsy treasures in between, as long as there is sincerity in the music.
Movies - Some favorites:Raising Arizona, Spirited Away, Requiem for a Dream, Fargo, Barton Fink, The Hangover, Zombieland, Gran Torino, Paprika, The Shining, Harold and Maude
My favorites are generally SciFi/Fantasy:
The Road by Cormac McCarthy, The Name of The Wind by Pat Rothfuss, The 13.5 Lives of Captain Bluebear by Walter Moers, The Flowers for Algernon by Scott Keyes, Perdido Street Station by China Miéville, A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K LeGuin, and The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the days when I learned to drive a car, I drove the car for about 10 kilometers, afraid that I would be driving alone. I forgot to turn on the signal lamps. In the dark I brought the car to the front of the door. I still can not forget. I once drove a chesna-type plane. What I still can not forget is how I was able to fly that plane without fear and panic. Unforgettable moments are somewhere in the past.
