ABOUT ME

I love to create my own worlds by programming them into the computer, and then I make electronic music and abstract video clips with these worlds. Yep, that sounds pretty abstract but the cool thing is that when I do it, there's very concrete results coming out of that. This way of making floaty fantasies concrete reality is something I really find magical. Then again: computers do suck your brain dry sometimes and that's why it's good to travel, change patterns, and do New Stuff!

Interests

People! And there's a lot of them! They're great, and weird too, and sometimes really nasty, but happily I don't meet the latter category so often. I rollerskate a LOT and once in a while I manage to read a book. Not that often though. Talking with friends, watching movies, preventing my body from deteriorating by doing some basic yoga or dancing to great (or horrible) music in my room or in a club...

Music: Much stuff and constantly changing, but to give you some names: Autechre, David Bowie, PJ Harvey, and 10.000.0000 other things that are fantastic.
Movies: Happiness, Stalker, Where The Wild Things Are, Melancholia.
Books: What is the What (Eggers), Gödel Escher Bach (Hofstadter), stuff by Nietzsche & Schopenhauer

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the beach in LA, realizing that I'm on the other side of the world from where I live, for no other reason than that I'm doing what I love to do. Doesn't sound very spectacular, but it was an amazing sensation at the moment!
