Sobre mí

ABOUT ME

This is always hard for me. My response to this is always "you should ask my friends" since they are the ones who knows me better and describe me since they had to put up with me. Anyways, for the sake of everyone in this community, I will try to describe myself as best as I can. Ok here goes. So first of all, I was born and raised in Thailand but no one really consider me really that Thai including myself. I spent a lot time growing up and learning English in an International School. Most of my friends are from different parts of the world especially from the US. So people kept saying I am more Ameican than Thai but I rather would like to see myself as more international. I am quite open about learning and accepting different cultures of the world and not identy myself with just one. The world is a huge place.

Anyways after graduating from highschool, I moved to the Bay Area in the US to continue my studies. For the majority of my time I was living in San Francisco, a city I fell in love with. I was living in the US in total of 6 years. Currently I do not live there anymore because my visa expired. So I gotta flee the country (not for any illegal purposes). It breaks my heart, sort of, to have to leave San Francisco that became my home and its hard to believe how ridiculous it has got expensive over the 7 months of my absence.

Now I am traveling, living my dream as a backpacker in South America. I want to travel as long as possible before I need to find a place to work again. So far its been 7 months of traveling. Anyways, I am a pretty easy going person. Not particularly fussy about anything. I am quite shy at first though until you break my shell. I am also very adventuristic and love exploring new places. I really dislike being idle with my time although sometime it is inevitable. Well I hope I have given an adequate introduction to myself. The best way to know more about me is of course, hang out with me.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Well normally I like to stay at hostels and get to know people but after trying couchsurfing for the first time with two of my friends in San Martin in Argentina, I was quite impressed by the experience. I have money to stay at normal places but I rather spend time with locals and getting to know them and wherever they are more. Its much more fun to exchange cultures to someone who is willing to share theres as well. I can learn more and experience more of the different cultures and places this way more than doing so alone.

Intereses

Traveling, Camping, Sightseeing, hiking, learning about history and other cultures,
what else? I like playing videogames, watching action sci-fi and comedy movies. I love eating good food and hanging out.

Música, películas y libros

One of my favorite bands are Hem and Fleet Foxes. I used to only like Bluegrass and Folk but now I am really enjoying other types of music as my taste expands.

I have many favorite movies but the few that I can remember are 300 and The Other guys. There are more favorites but really cant remember.

Algo increíble que he hecho

There are many amazing things I have done.
I trekked the Macchu Picchu, trekked Torres del Paine. There are many more but I cant remember, my memory isnt that good.

I walked on glaciers in El Calafate in Argentina.

I picked a pot full of wild Himalayan Blackberries that invaded Argentina in a trek I did in Cajon del Azul that is near El Bolson and made an amazing Blackberry pie for the first time in my life.

Me and my friend (well mostly him since he is better at fishing) caught a wild salmon from the river in Patagonia Chile and ate it raw sashimi style within 5 minutes and also cooked it in I believed butter or Pesto and it was a 1000 times better than buying them in stores.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Everything you want to know that I have knowledge of is yours and the same could be said for me of your knowledge.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I love to hangout, have fun, cook good food even though I am not that good but I will try to explode your tastebuds with awesomeness. Being open minded and sharing experiences and cultures. Helping out with anything that is needed helping. I will do my best.
