I'm originally from Germany, but have been living in Barcelona, Spain for the last 12 years. I‘m a linguist/translator and have mostly been working in office jobs over the last few years, which is sth I get tired of again and again.. so I have a pattern of quitting my job to take some time for myself and personal projects (music, traveling..) before running out of money and eventually going back to another boring job ;) - you can probably tell I haven’t figured out just yet how to live my life, but that’s okay.

I’m an introvert at heart and a bit shy at first, but I do love meeting new people from all paths of life and really appreciate connections of any kind - I hate small talk though so maybe let’s try to skip that?;)

Right now I’m again between jobs and focusing on music, I got back into playing the violin a couple of years ago (thanks Covid!) and now spend most of my time sharing music with people, busking on the streets of Barcelona or joining jam sessions.

Quite a long time ago, my room mates and I would host people in Barcelona which we really enjoyed. Some of my first and best Barcelona memories are from that time.
I haven't had the chance to be a host since then and haven't travelled using cs either, but now I'm back and ready to give it another try! ;)

My roots are in classical music which I still really enjoy.. need some Bach/Beethoven/Brahms once in a while.
At this point though I'm all over the place and like pretty much everything.. Pop/Indie/Rock/Reggae/Ska/Hip Hop/Electro.
Over the last two years I’ve also been getting more into Latin American music, can’t believe what I had been missing out on before!

I don't read as much as I would like to.. adult life you know. Somehow I do find time for Netflix and chill.
