Resumen
Sobre mí
I can't take guests as I am travelling at the moment. Back home in March!
I enjoy active lifestyle and "just do it" kind of an attitude.
As an engineer, I am a problem solver.
I am on my second year doing Masters degree on Design and Engineering in Tallinn University of Technology. Until spring it's all about getting my thesis done. Fortunately recreational trips and CS events are giving me energy and helping out well.
I like hiking, especially on a bicycle or motorcycle. I like to take my tent and spontaneously spend a night somewhere in the nature. I like to cruise on back roads I have never been to find out what's behind the next curve or next hilltop. I like to keep away from tourist attractions and meet local people. To get to know them and their culture. Couchsurfing provides best opportunities for this.
When I am not travelling I like to host surfers. In my experience getting to know a Couchsurfer is almost as good as travelling by myself.
I am often listening hours of conference recordings from Elon Musk, Jack Ma, Vinod Khosla and other innovative entrepreneurs and I have listened many TED talks. Definitely I can discuss about ideas if you like :)
My motto:
Life is great, now it is your turn!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
To surf and host :)
I am glad to share tips and information to surfers.
To show you nature outside of Tallinn, mushroom picking, aurora observation - whatever is reasonable. I have car to take trips outside the city area.
At the moment I live in a shared flat 6km away from city center(Mustamäe). The place is recently renovated and clean. You will love it :)
If you stay for longer you'll get a phone with Estonian SIM card in order we could get in touch.
Often I introduce the idea of CS to my friends and try to talk them into it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2011 I visited USA with a J1 student visa for 12 weeks. That is how I got into CS. I experienced a lot of good things through CS. Though I worked for the most of my stay, I would call this trip a CS trip. I had 3 great hosts who all made a chapter for my memories of my life.
I am truly grateful to all of my NY hosts! Thank you for getting me started!
I'd like to give the same experience to anybody who is new to Couchsurfing.
Intereses
It is easier to make a list of things that I am not interested in - gossip, computer games, TV serials. Things that I have not jet discovered are worth discovering.
Some of my interests:
Travelling - share and gather information.
Sports - biking, swimming, running, skiing, snowboarding, fitness etc.
Cooking - just mixing the available stuff usually makes a tasty meal in my case.
Formula Student - I was a team member in 2012 and now I like to see how our small Estonian team is one of the top teams in the world.
For people travelling to Estonia I would recommend to visit southern part of Estonia http://southestonia.nuattitude.ee/eng/gallery.

Música, películas y libros
Good music - I think there is good music in every genre, some genres just seem to have more than others.
Books - I love books. I wish I could find more time to spend with them.
I like good movies but most likely I find myself reading a book and listening good music.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Pulling off my trip to USA in the summer of 2011.
Graduating BSc while being in the mandatory army service.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I am able to teach, learn and speak about technical stuff, startup entrepreneurship, working out, travelling or just about life.
I like to prepare my meals - I can teach you as well.
Solidworks CAD modelling.
I'd like to learn how to relax.
My NY host Tony taught that to get something done, you need to concentrate. To concentrate you first need to relax. I need to improve my ability to relax.
Some info for CS travelers visiting Estonia(I'll be adding stuff here from time to time)
The complex history of Estonia and other general information http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estonia
I recommend http://www.traveller.ee/ good tours to get the general idea of Tallinn in 2 hrs.
Must see 1 http://www.lennusadam.eu/en/ . Close to an old prison that has been turned into a museum http://www.patarei.org/en/
Must see 2 http://www.teletorn.ee/en
Estonian museum of art called KUMU (just a really nice building if you are not into art) http://www.kumu.ee/en/
The impressive Estonian song festival http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estonian_Song_Festival.
Near the last two there is a nice park. You can do a google search on "Kadrioru park" and look the images. Information about the park http://www.turismiweb.ee/en/company/KADRIORU_PARK/8543/
My grand parents grew up in a place like this http://www.evm.ee/keel/eng/
All the Tallinn Oldtown is worth visiting in the evening/night. Small enough to visit all the pubs in one night.
And after all the all the pubs there is a place to go round 2.00-3.00 AM. http://localvortex.net/vorties/5/levist-valjas-aka-levikas
