About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live in a supermarket

ABOUT ME

Originally from Jerusalem, Israel. After finishing my army service and graduating from the university I moved to China in order to improve my Chinese. A couple of years later I've decided that its about time to experience a new place and thus moved to study Japanese in Tokyo.

PHILOSOPHY

If it's still moving - Don't eat it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only couchsurfed once so far. It was a great experience and I'm looking forward to the next time.

Interests

I'm an open-minded person, always up for an adventure (even if it means getting lost in another city again ^^). I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, photographing, experimenting with food (trying to cook all kinds of dishes - not the safest time to be in the kicthen with me :P ), reading, hanging out with friends etc...

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of Terrence Malick's movies (The Thin Red Line, The Tree of Life, Days of Heaven). Other movies I love: Elling, Hlemmuer, Urga, Flickering Lights, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Napoleon Dynamite, Old Boy, Nobody Knows, Sherlock Holmes, Spirited Away, Spring Summer Fall Winter And Spring, Tampopo, LOTR, The Burmese Harp and many more (I'm very fond of East Asian cinema)...

Books: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea, Moby Dick, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

Music: Sigur Ros, Beirut, Bon Iver, Joe Hisaishi, Ennio Morricone, Pendulum, Hans Zimmer, Richard Hawley, and plenty of soundtracks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ate hotpot in Chengdu (too spicy ><)
Spoke and listened to Sichuan-Hua (and lived to tell...)
Went on top of Shanghai's World Financial Center despite having fear of heights.

Teach, Learn, Share

How to cook mediocre pasta.
Some Hebrew & Israeli culture if you find it interesting.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Finland, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
