Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is a great way to make new friends and explore new cities. Staying with a local gives you the chance to get to know a place differently than just staying as a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Anything I can sing and dance to! I'm mostly into indie/alternative. The Shins, Gardens & Villa, Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett, Best Coast, Tegan and Sara just to name a few:)

Movies:
To be honest, I don't get around to watching a lot of movies. I enjoy them, but I am a little to easily distracted to sit down and truly appreciate them. My all-time-favorites are Breakfast at Tiffany's (Or anything Audrey Hepburn really), Midnight in Paris, Knotting Hill and Across the Universe.

Books:
Too many to list! I studied literature at university so I have been able to read a lot of different books from different genres. My favorite books are Pride & Prejudice, The House on Mango Street and Glass Castles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled across the world to live in France for a year without knowing anyone or the language. It has been an amazing experience so far and I am excited to see more of what this world has to offer.
