About Me

I'd describe myself as a pizza roll. I'm small, full of fun, and not gluten-free.

I'm very easy going, always down for adventure, and very clumsy (so please alert me of any sharp corners or cracks in the pavement).

One of my favorite pastimes include enjoying delicious libations on cute patios.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Short answer:
Because ever since I was young, when I hear the word "couchsurfing" I imagine a dude literally trying to surf some waves on a loveseat, and that's hilarious to me.

Long answer:
A good friend of mine recently went to visit one of our friends who lives in Seoul, Korea. They had such a blast and I drooled over all their pictures and adventures. From all her stories, I could tell that she had a chance to really get immersed into the city and the culture because she had the opportunity to be guided around by a local. I understand that the hosts on here are not my personal guides to each city. I'm just super pumped at the idea that a host might be able to share their personal recommendations or point me in the direction of fun things to do that I might not have discovered online.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I picked up my life and moved across the country from Reno, NV to Chicago, IL in order to follow some dreams. It was a terrifying decision that meant leaving behind everyone and everything I knew for a brand new adventure, but I'm so glad I did it! While many other aspects of my life may suck at times or after discovering that Seasonal Affective Disorder is a very real thing that I have to learn to cope with, I constantly find myself in awe of this city and humbled by the amount of love and art that fills my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides my terrible dad jokes and detailed knowledge of the Harry Potter universe, I'm always willing to share a delicious brunch with any interested individuals. Let's grab a mimosa and bond by sharing embarrassing stories of our youth!
