Overview
About Me
Originally from Tennessee (USA), I met my English husband on MySpace back in 2008. We got married and I moved to London, UK in 2013. We are now living the country life in a small hamlet in Bedfordshire,UK.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing to meet interesting and adventurous people. I'd also like to meet new people that perhaps could teach me new things.
Interests
I am highly interested in portrait photography.
I love to buy second hand when/where I'm able. If I can't find it, I'm happy to give it a go at making what I'm looking for.
I'm also interested in the outdoors. I like canal walks, hiking, swimming, kayaking, camping. I'd love to go on a camping tour through Croatia and Montenegro one day!

Music, Movies, and Books
I do love books! I'm making my way through as many books as I can in 2018. I'm currently on The Goldfinch. I really enjoy non-fiction as well as I love to learn new things. Also, I cannot get enough of photography books.
I also love films. Some of my favourites are: There Will Be Blood, The Pianist, Pulp Fiction, Alien.
I love music but it would be too difficult to name favourites. I am currently slowly building a record collection as I just love the process and the sound.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once sold some of my belongings including a dresser to afford to go sky diving with friends at sunset in Tennessee!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share photography skills including digital, film and Polaroid.
I'm also into cooking and am happy to make American or Cajun food (my grandmother is Cajun and has taught me quite a few of her recipes) or teach you to make these for those interested in this sort of thing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Photography, walking trails, books, American food, travel stories and more.
