Howdy, I'm an open-hearted, upbeat and joyful person who loves meeting new people and seeing the world through their eyes. On my trips around the "world" (meaning Europe), I've met a bunch of people that have had a great impact on my life and I've made so many valuable friends (who saved my disorganised nomad ass in the middle of nowhere), so I'm more than excited to get to know you too! No matter if you're interested in getting hyped about sports, discussing your favorite movie director or just having deep conversations about life, I'm sure we'll find something that we have in common! ;)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Once upon a time there were two high school graduate backpacker friends who traveled to a notorious mountain named "Monte Forato" in Tuscany, Italy (go check it out on google Images, it's amazing!), thinking that the only hostel in that area would be free (in the middle of summer… yeah, I know, we were naive to think so). Turns out it was fully occupied by a stereotypical joint family of approx. 11 children/teenagers and almost as many parents. At this point my friend and I were just desperately hoping to be permitted to camp in the garden, as we had our tent with us (and there was literally no other place to spend the night) - but instead of rejecting us, they simply invited us inside, cooking for us, letting us stay two nights sharing beds with the children and even driving us to the bottom of the mountain. Despite some communication difficulties (I don't speak italian and our hosts' english wasn't that good either), we made friends with every single family member by laughing, singing and jamming, and three year later we still keep in touch via social media and even meet up once in a while. This experience has taught me that by giving, you receive. The best friendships that'll last a life time are created in moments like this, and I want to spread the word and continue making friends (that help me out when I'm stranded again with no money, obviously xD).

Music: I listen to everyone and everything, from Bach to the Beyoncé, from Sinatra to Skrillex, from Adele to Alicia Keys, from N.W.A. to NAS. Currently I'm into Eminem and some contemporary R'n'B artists.

Movies: Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Alejandro González Inárritu, and many more… love (psycho-)thrillers, complicated love-life-dramas and comedies, and sometimes even shows on Netflix or Amazon prime (though starting a series means commitment… phew). Tv-shows like Tatort or others

Books: Currently reading the Barcelona-series by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, if not that I like Stephen King, Tess Gerritsen and other crime time material.
